I didn't think he was that awesome this time around. The first part he played pretty monotone music with a little bit too much techno flavour, while the second half was way more commercial (often his better style) but the mixing kinda let us down there. The intro-mix to The Pope of Dope (The Subs) was horrible to say the least.
He's done a lot better on e.g. the Lokerse Feesten 09 but he couldn't convince me here. That goes for most of ILT10 btw, while Underworld and Booka Shade were fantastic, most of the other djs were sub-par.
Hopefully Soulwaxmas will be better later this month (going to Eindhoven instead of Hasselt).
It was the first time I was attending an "I love techno" and I must say I've been a bit disappointed.. I couldn't even enter the orange room once cuz it was closed all the time.. So no crookers, no bloody, no steve aoki and no sound of stereo for me :/ That suxed
Oh yeah you'll learn that for the next time. With the headliners you've got to be in the room at least 15 minutes before the set starts. It's just something you've got to know, or you'll be fucked. Can't blame the festival for that though, there's just no way they can allow everyone to be in one room at the same time. What did you see then?

We were too tired to end up with PARTYHARDERS.. I really wanted to see them as they're coming from wallonie but I still can see them at the Forma.T in Luik.
I saw Villa, Jack Beats, Ellen Allien, Kele, Underworld, Goose, Fake Blood, Booka Shade, Dr. Lektroluv.
Really wanted to see Boys Noize and Vitalic but gotta make choices :)
Partyharders are shit though. They're only known for their latest "hit" with The Pope of Dope which actually is just because they cooperated with The Subs, the real talents behind that track. Partyharders alone are crap ^^
