Is the Senate decided yet? Last I heard there was the possibility that the Democrats could tie it, but the Republicans would probably win.
like it matters, 2 party system is no democracy imo
Attention now turns to U.S. Senate races, where control of the Senate is coming down to two hard-fought contests in Virginia and Montana. "

O well... Hooray 4 ze Democratz
P.S.: Schwarzenegger is a Republican, people :P
better letz collapse the economy of than bombing other countries tbh :)
and if they arent able to build up a working economy without weapons they its their own fault :)
export and stuff u know :)
Why do you think no country has ever asked America to pay their huge debts? Because America can't..
But stop lending the Americans money isn't an option either because if their economy fails, the world economy will fail.
Thinking the collapse of American economy will only have advantages like buying a car really cheap is:
1) Wishfull thinking
2) Kinda stupid
Smart *cough* corrupt *cough* people, those Americans.
Ha! The irony! Going to other countries to give them democracy, when their own democracy is crap.
However, America was the first country in the world to have a modern democracy. Too bad they haven't changed a damn thing since 1776.
That's not curruption, it is ignorance.
It wasn't corruption that made Osama a problem, it was USA's ignorance.
In the start, it was quite smart. Paying someone else for dirty warfare with Russia. But they forgot to do what you should do with a rabid dog after you used him/it.
Leash it or kill it.
You are right about the ignorance part though.
In both cases I am, as usual, right.
However, we do know that America invests more money is developing weapons, than 10 other big countries in total! So yes, weapons are a big issue in America, and I am ofcourse exaggarating when I said that their economy would collapse. I don't think that will ever happen, especially after what happened in 1929. However, America not being at war means a pretty heavy damaging to America's internal economy. I think you can almost say, that America has been into war for the last 64 years, to keep things running. In fact, America made a lot of profit from WW I and II. At the end of 1944, less than 1% of America had no job.
And ofcourse I can't give you 2 links to give you any proof. This the internet, where you can find more quantity than quality. Google is no university (unfortunately).
Besides that I agree with you that it could be a big part of their economy, but I seriously doubt it would collapse (the economy) if USA stops their warfare.
I even wonder how Bush will act now with the war in Iraq.
I highly doubt it that they will instantly leave there. And ofcourse America keeps making new weapons/machines. Example:
A dozen of European countries are now buying the 'state of the art' Joint Strike Fighter from America. A year later America developped a better plane (can't remember the name), and decided to drop this so called 'state of the art' JSF. But they earn a lot of money from it now. European statesmen are so dumb, I swear :P
Ofcourse, EU being the best example for it.
"Eulope you sai? Eulopa not vely impoltant being. Maybe next month."
Europe has to face it. There are now 4 world countries, and we are definately the 3rd.
