Hey

so im tired of playing ET with 40 fps and generally having a shit slow pc.

i have found the following pc

ATI Radeon HD5450 512mb Graphics Card

AMD Dual Core 3.1Ghz Processor

Asrock N68-GS3 Motherboard

2 x 2GB DDR3 Elite Memory

450W Power Supply

DVD + - R/RW Rom

Windows 7 home premium

500 GB Hard Drive 7200RPM

All for £320

What i want to know is, is it worth the price?

Would i get stable 125 fps in ET ?

He's 9, he owns a desktop, a laptop (which I'm using), a PS3, an XBOX360, an XBOX, a Wii, a Nintendo DS, a PSP, an HDTV and a Gamecube.

Dunno, I just had some shitty parts laying around, build a computer and put linux on it, nP.
But for £300 you could get a decent computer that would run ET fine.

It'll do. Look at computer stores, not some shitty electronics place like currys :P
Building a computer is just like lego, you just click them into place. They only go in one way, and often only a choice of 2-4 holes they'd go in lulz.

Or just get a barebone system and use your current case, hdd etc.

You will get 125 easily and everywhere with that PC.

I get stable 90 with my dual core laptop ( ET used only one core).

my 5 year old crappy ass computer gets 125 stable fps when it feels like it sometimes my dear computer is being all bitchy and then its unstable like fuck

but you should be able to hold 125 stable with this stuff

xD if you wanna get stable FPS take nvida,AMD(ATI) is shit on stable FPS=>115-125,but nvida 124-125(sry for bad language)
And you must have very very low PC,because running ET with 40FPS.
And DONT buy PC-s,build your own PC,way cheaper and better.
Even 8years old PC can run ET in 125FPS
