Windows xp SP3

So following the khaplja solution (slac isnt working for me) im going to install windows SP 3, because it seems SLAC aint gonna work on my old good SP 2 (ofc going to install SP3 OFFLINE cuz of illegal version) So my question is if anyone of you ever heard that upgrading to SP3 deleted some of the files in the system? And does anybody got some experience in changing from sp2 to sp3 on illegal version of win xp proffesional? Waiting for some answers, cheers!

don't have any experience but my slac is working on an illegal version of win xp prof and on a original version of win xp prof with sp2 so np

yeah i thought i won't be the problem but the only solution of khaplja (slac master) was to install SP3 ;s

format and reinstall windows and it will still work, cause after a couple of time windows get fucked up ....

i'm not saying it will suddenly work.. but if you're using a version of windows from 2004, it's pointless to search for the cause of the problem because that is most likely to be.. if it still doesn't work after the upgrade, we'll see what to do.. besides, there are million non-slac related reasons why you should upgrade to SP3

have you got 64 bit windows or 32?

microsoft dont even support 64 bit xp anymore..

read 'Operating System: xxxx' on the first page

no sp3 just updates windows components, shouldn't touch any of your files: but its always a good idea to have -- especially of home porn

tbh you'd be better off getting windows 7 unless you have ancient hardware, pretty sure i installed sp3 when i was on xp without any problems but that was a while ago

There is no SP3 for 64bit so it's quite self-explanatory. Unless, of course, OP is a retard.
