Many of my friends from home tell me they cannot drink and party the way they used to, I being only a 2nd year at uni, (i took a gap year so I could technically be a 3rd year now), have always called them pussys, but now I know how they feel.
I have gastritis which is a disease/illness that means you get an acid/bile like flavour or taste in your mouth every now and then that has fucking got worse and worse and the one thing that makes it even more painful is alcohol.
What is the one thing I fuck love? going out/Alcohol :( I went out tonight, as I do every Sunday because that Sunday is the night when all 3 uni's/colleges in my city go merge on one place and usually I last until the wee hours of the morning, but tonight? Tonight I am home by 12:30 almost crying because my mouth cannot take anymore, I need water to put out the fire in my mouth.
You know when you take a shot of absynth and your whole neck feels like you are on fire, well I have that 24/7. I just tried to eat and I couldnt finish it because my throat hurts too much, there has to be a better way than this, I cannot go on like this :(
Somebody cry me a river that I can put down my throat, I literally know of nothing that will help me, I am stuck with a pain i can do nothing about and its fucking awful

If your gastritis is caused by an infection, that problem may be treated as well. For example, the doctor might prescribe antibiotics to clear up H. pylori infection. Once the underlying problem disappears, the gastritis usually does too. Talk to your doctor before stopping any medicine or starting any gastritis treatment on your own."
My suggestion: go to a doctor if it's too bad. Since you're a student at a university i guess you can go to a doctor for free or at least get a discount. Just blame the studies :)
And i got a mate with the same prob he just has a bottle of water with him every where he go's. : <
I hardly understand why people even bother to drink alcohol. Like FlyingDJ said, you don't need alcohol to have fun.
