there's no such thing as an incorrect language
you can't even write correctly in your own language and you call me dumb?
but i agree that jinosta his point doesn't make sense because english only got 'institutionalised' long after the discovery of America, hence neither can be the original form.
America soccer, rest of the wolrd football
I like soccer more though

Pro Evolution Football?

It's the same fucking game, it's just Americans calling it soccer since they have another sport they call football (and it doesn't matter if you think that name is appropriate or not) and Europeans call it football. What's up with people hysterically overreacting every single time someone calls it soccer, get a grip.
yet soccer isnt 'wrong'
or
International Federation of Association Football
or
Internationale Föderation des Verbandsfußballs
or
Federación Internacional de Fútbol Asociación
its football

Football is is the general term for sports played with the foot, so it contains: rugby, soccer, etc.
So in fact soccer is more accurate
It's like when you see a bird you call it a parrot (if it is one) , you can either say parrot (more accurate, so soccer) or winged animal (football)
dat was het net, ik zei dat beide kan en hij zei dat soccer fout was
CASE SO CLOSED
