Problem Child

As some of you well know, I asked a few days ago if BelgiumNetsky was any good live.

I went to see him last night, with Joy Orbison, Sukh Night, True Tigers, and Strategy as well as Jenna G and Newham Generals (who were both some great MCs coming from someone that doesn't like MCs) and residents of Manchester - Reason and Chunky. I wasn't sure what to expect but for £10.15 I thought I'd go anyway.

Got in this morning at 4.15 absolutely loving life after witnessing the brilliance that is Netsky. One of the best gigs i've been to for a long time in a wicked venue, with wicked people. Got a cheeky handshake from him (and he had a cheeky crowd surf), as well as one from Jenna G and a thumbs up from Reason, who is a legend and I've seen many times before (plays FAC251 if anyone ever comes to Manchester).

I think it was made better with Jenna G, but I have to give some credit to True Tigers blew the roof off the place on their first drop, and I got to witness Sukh Knight drop his 'Ganja Dub'.

Might be going to see Borgore on the 13th too!

Yeah, Machine Gun got dropped last night (16bit remix though) but that was as far as it got. If true tigers ever tour you HAVE to go and see them, they're sick.

i can just tell you lenzman and riya are a big disappointement live, and fresh plays dubstep only ;x
subwave is a killer dj, aswell as dfunk/stray/naibu :)

We dont get those guys much here, maybe hit and run. Missed Netsky in October because CBA, and B-complex too. Not gonna miss people like that again. I had college at 9 and I am so tired, but I don't care because im still smiling because of last night! ^_^

and dnb artists arent that rare in .pl, its just they are mostly playing far from my city, the only place i can afford is ~50kms from me, where a friend of mine is providing those awesome imports :P hes a decent dj too, you can check his stuff here: http://soundcloud.com/alegriaabada last mix is sick, hf :P

dont get too excited, when he was @ Poznan, promoting Kryptonite, he was playing dubstep only, was rly rly disappointed with his tune choice

Probably will, Netsky was a bit slow at first but he ended up playing an 1.15 set (everyone else was playing 45 minutes) and with Jenna g there too it was a great atmosphere!

There are some other artists on there too. Netsky is a MUST see though, JO was great too but I was in the mood to skank my face off so it wasn't what the doctor ordered I don't think. The fact that I was sober scares me too. x
