cfg help

ok, so, ive basically been using almost exactly the same cfg since i started playing et back in 1937 , with a few tweaks here and there. and as immensely pro as i am with it, i think i need a new one.

the only catch is... im shit with this stuff. i can point the mouse and click it, and shout at noobs and be all clever, but this cfg stuff is the devils work and i cant work it young-un.

so, i need the help of some superclever cfg genius type, who i know, love and respect to make me a new one. of course there will be a prize of the private bio password to the helper who makes me something great and makes me pwn noobs.

oh, and why isnt my mx518 not working with ET anymore? the 2 left hand side buttons dont work in game anymore? they work outside ET and with all other games, just not with et? and yes, ive adjusted the shit out setpoint and its still the same..... HELP!

Well I changed other things like how long my chat stays in the window.

As the game allows players to configure their client freely, the game is meant to be played with any settings you prefer. If it was meant to be played with the default config, then the default config would be the only option. Q.E.D.

Kevlar gimme ur old cfg and some idea u want , i can make High graphic cfg for u , or best Fps. Bright or Dark with spwn timer , spwnpoint selector, 180turn class, fov script etc..

all logitech software is shit, and mouse drivers do more harm than good.. like fucking with your sens, turning mouseaccel on, etc.

easier and more effective to just "plug and play" without installing anything imo

You can siable acceleration with mouse fix and it doesn't fuck up your sensitivity, at least if you're not a newbie

just decide that u want focus on shooting, so get a lower fov 90-100 or u want to see more + it feels more faster D: fov 107+
107 is the magic imo low enough for good aiming and high enough for movement ,etc

play around with r_gamma , r_mapoverbrightbits "0.2-2"

What something looks like is relative to the person. I think it's wonderful, that's why i use it ofcourse and why i created it that way. If you think different that is perfectly fine but don't say it looks fucking horrible as if you are the standard by which everything should be measured.
