It does. Think about it. Or atleast listen to my thoughts for a second.
Majority of the people vote for people whom put money to adverticement, are celebrities, have been sitting in the parliament for decades, are somewhat trust-worthy and bla bla.
Seriously. Even retards have a right to vote. About someone they want to. How much does an average idiot know? I concider myself as "above average", and I don't know shit. And they let us to "decide" how the country goes for next 6 (six) years. Oh jeez.
What we need are some civil service agents, not chosen by people, not chosen by political parties, not chosen by money. But chosen by merits, their doings. Yea yea, kinda hard to say whom are good for those, but that isn't the point. The point is that nowadays any idiot can be chosen by any idiot, and those idiots act by their "political view", which is too more often restricted.
And about political parties, those should be separated from the state (as well as the church, like they don't have any affect to the state). It is so ridiculous, people whom are trying to do "good" for all, arguing about idiotic issues, differing about those issues, depending if they are in the government or in the opposition. Arguing just for the sake of the argument (yeye, we would agree, but we can't because we aren't in the government). And that they have to make differences against each others, because if you don't differ you from them, you might aswell vote for the other.
The point is. Play ET, wank, do something at sunday. Just don't vote

BAN VOTING / PARTIES / POLITICIANS

Democratic republics just become corrupt and shit.
They got like few good ideas, then a dishful of so retardish opinions that they are a disgrace for the idea...
EDIT: Besides, they won't get anyone to the parliament, so their votes will be distributed to some other party (depends of their allies, not sure whom they are with).
@ your edit, yes i know i thought about it aswell but u know if u dont vote, it actually helps the bigger parties which i hate the most.
cds are overpriced and we dont need half the job record labels do, actually only musicians who whine about piracy are the shit ones or some oldies. only the 98% of all musicians can make a living out of cds (it is actually a 98%) nowdays with internet u dont need those ppl making cds, the new era is about u get your stuff on the internet and ppl listens to u, and its actually way easier to become known rather than before when we only had cds, thats when musicians make their money: they fill up their gigs.
u can also promocionate yourself etc etc unlike before when someone else did it all for u and he took 19 euros out of 20 when a cd was sold.
thing is were on a new era and they need to adapt oviously all free is not the way but definitely not the old one either.
Anyway im going to sleep, i have somehow normal sleeping patterns for once.
all i know is: i watched that video 2 times already ;)
peace thomm!

The problem with dictatorships is that—while they can work great under a solid founding leader—they tend have major issues when that person dies and succession comes up (either that or somebody rebels and takes out the old dictator by violence). You can look back through history all the way to the ancient Greeks and their tyrants to see some of the flaws.
Democracy has very severe drawbacks, but it's the best thing we've come up with so far for the majority of the people.
Rather that than dictatorship which is like playing russian roulette.
Also, RIP George Carlin :(
I'd actually rather like to see independed persons, of which you probably know or which has been proven to be reliable and somewhat intelligent, being voted into parliament instead. And yes, thats an dellusional idea, i know, since every voter would have to be informed about every single person and would have to cast what, 120 votes? (Well then lets just not vote every 4 years 120 persons, but every year 30 of em?) Most voters here do not even know about what the parties they vote for do anyway, so would that be much more of a change?!
Why exactly should the Church be seperated from the state?
