buy steam -> dl few hours -> play

buy game -> wait till arrives etc

Here in Poland it costs 50EUR @ steam and circa 100PLN = 25.46EUR at stores...

Now that is just ridicoulus, considering that I can register the game bought @ normal store at steam and download it (what I did, to make sure that I'll have english version). The logic here is seriously flawed.

you can change your steam language to English and every game gets patched to be English.

Well just buy on steam if you want it. I bought from play.com and I received it yesterday :S 5 days delivery. Because I didnt get it on release I ended up going the store on friday and buying a second copy :D. Also for some reason you cant buy brink in uk from store so your lucky there if you want the game to play now you should buy on steam :)

bought it for 50 euro:) only played 3 or 4 hours yet and i really love it:P
It was a bit random shooting the first 1 hour but i understand the game better now..

Sorry that i gave you hope to the game and you were disappointed, but i still think it has a great potential with decent server configuration and a pro mod.

Btw i still dont have my original copy of the game , it was sent from www.thehut.com on last wednesday and im still waiting, so my point of view is only forged by an offline experience (the way you can move into the game , the class gameplay, and the way the aiming is handled)

well, i dont have the toruble some people report and i like it :( it's definitely better than those two games together but I also played a very little cod (cod2 more active) and quake recently cuz i got bored of et a long time ago.

its not et eventhough its objective
its hard to fight anyone with lvl 20 while u are level <10 (its crap in competition if u just started - equals as you reach level 20 after ~20 hours of playing ^^)
it has no strafe jumps but smart :x

reviews explain the issue of my reply: either you like or you dont :p I like it and i hope alot more people than already do gona follow :p

It's better than wolfenstein, but better than etqw? We need too see that, etqw with promod was pretty good. ETQW in the start was even more ready for competition than Brink is now.

But hopefully it will be better in comp than those.

playing 5on5 every evening, cant complain about bugs but one in any of those matches (once the guy you had to escort on aquarium was lost, and by that i mean LOST ^^). Dunno, etqw didnt feel good back than :( might be the shitty computer I had but brink looks much smoother to me even with all the upgrades and things you can do.

For me ETQW felt much more finished and smoother, but i never had bad hardware, in ETQW i had enough FPS, and now in Brink atleast 150 ( mostly between 160 ~ 200 )

It's just too bad in ETQW people didn't gave promod a chance after it was released. I think Brink will get that chance, because there is just more publicity.

There was even a commercial on tv about Brink i was like wtf, brink on tv?

you can use the code you get in any store for steam so buy it elsewhere and then register it with steam unless you are in a hurry (which makes no sense now that its released for some time^^).
