Hi.

Next Evolution. ESC is starting a league after the summer and therefore we are in the need of admins as well newsposters. This league will be something new, with different scores.

Short information:

Quote+Explanation league:
16 teams will participate against each other for 15 weeks. You got to see this as a football league. Every team played (this counts for all teams). The points-system is as follow. If you manage to win your opponent with 4-0, the winner will gain 4 points. If you manage to win a team with 4-2 the winner will get 4 points and the loser will receive 2 points. After every team played each other (so after 15 weeks) the number 1, 2 and 3 will gain a cash prize. The underdogs of a season will also receive a gear-prize.


+Signup/invites:
At the first season we will invite 3 teams directly to the league. After the first season ends the top 5 will gain a direct invite to the next season of the league. The teams who want to participate inside the league and who didn't receive a direct invite have to sign up for the league. We will choose the other remaining 13 teams based on their activity, skill, and reliability. Every team is allowed to sign up.


+Format:
The league will be in a 5on5 format, so this is nothing new compared to all the other tournaments lately. Every team can register 1 main backup which will be used if any player is not available, this means that there are no mercs allowed.


+Rules:
Every team can delay their match up to 6 days of the official match day. If the match doesn't take place both teams won't gain any points at all. if this happen a second time, there will be a penalty which costs you 2 points. But if a team can play during a week, and a other team can’t this will mean that the team who is available to play the game will gain +2 point as a forfeit win.

Every team needs to use SLAC during their matches.

Every team needs to record their demo’s during the matches, if somebody can’t give the demo’s of the requested match, this will instantly mean a 4-0 loss. So there will be no points given.

The reason why this is posted, is to check if people are interested. Also the admins who apply for this league will help me getting a map-list and other rules.

yeah but you'll end up with jokes like EC and the YCN cup atm, your whole lineup changing and still being allowed to play ^_^

to be honest with you saken, we are trying our best to be active for et but its also up to the teams to atleast try to be professional other wise the game will just die.

and 1 main backup? what is that? xD There must be option to use unlimited amount of backups for that to work. And something like 3 week penalty for clan switching should be enough

make multiple leagues so lower teams can play too?

Edit: maybe ask a 5€/player sign up which will take care of the folds/drops.
& use it to give small gifts/hardware to the teams who win in the lower leagues ! :)

if you can't make ANY lineup changes during 15 weeks, I really doubt most teams will survive with the original lineup of 6 players

I think that you should give the teams a possibility to change atleast one or perhaps two players during the season

otherwise it looks really interesting though and hope it'll be a success!

obviously you're the one that gets mad that i dont make sense at all while your own team is changing line-up every time i close my eyes. I'm only serious against people who can be taken serious and you're still not on my list, sorry.

This doesn't make sense to me at all, sure disallow blatant use of mercs but allow teams to have more than 6 in their lineup.

I like the idea,

but there has to be a possibility to use more backups or a merc.

Most of the players have a life to live as well so you cant expect everyone to be online all the time :)
