Button:
- accident with team mate
- drive through penalty, basically in last place
- gambles with intermediate tyres when others are on wets and climbs through the field
- safety car then race stopped for like 2 hours
- climbs through the field, hits alonso and gets a puncture ends up basically last AGAIN
- Climbs through the field AGAIN
- Safety car
- Overtakes webber and schumacher who are racing really really really well
- Zooms off on a dry track out pacing vettel by a mile
- Scares Vettel off the road and wins
Vettel:
- Wins races by starting first and just pointing the car in the right direction for 2 hours
- When he gets challenged properly, falls off the tarmac
Conclusion:
- Button much much much better driver than Vettel will ever be.

However in terms of racing, Button has come through the field so many times in so many different conditions. The best examples are this race and the Brazilian GP in 2009 when he won the championship where Button came from 14th to 4th. He does it time and time again.
In terms of raw speed and qualifying, Vettel is better. In terms of consistency, fun, driving skill, over taking skill and entertainment Button is better.
McClaren aren't being a very good team at the moment, they're making silly errors recently.
buttons car was just better and vettel gased out the shit of his car. he had no chance so either he does a mistake or he'd be overtaken by button. so he did a mistake...
was a great moment by both of them!
wasnt this the time when Button was driving for that newly made team, which had an advantage over the other racing teams?
Vettel is just really fast, and not as good a 'racer' as alonso/button/hamilton. Still very consistant and very fast.
Even tho button is overall a better driver i guess, easier on the tires and the car etc.
was he just a good driver when he won all those titles or was it because of his good car?
im interested in your answer :o
just can remember the time when he had a double win together with barichello where they drove next to each other and barichello won it :D was pretty funny.
The poles might make it easier for him but it doesn't guarantee a win by any means and i think he did a great job so far managing his laptimes/car and keeping it all together. It's just not as much fun to watch but you can't really blame him for that
(and im no vettel fan)
(and if you want be be entertained watch kobayashi or petrov (or even alonso), they're more aggresive than button most of the time)
the germans whipe the track with you guys so enjoy it while it lasts... or more like be enjoy it now as it will never happen again.
kubica is the only one whos skills where comparable to alonsos i think, but we cant tell how is he going to drive after the comeback ~.~
thats the order for me at the moment, but I am a Button fan.
Button, Alonso and Hamilton are proper racers for me, Vettel is just fast when no cars challenge him and Webber is good but not good enough enough of the time
Top drivers imo:
(1) Schumacher (he's not at the top of his game anymore, but like he showed yesterday, he's still amazing)
2. Alonso
3. Vettel
4. Hamilton
5. Button/Rosberg/Massa
It's very close though, especially between Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton.

- When he gets challenged properly, falls off the tarmac
Räikkönen:
- chilling
Point is that the only reason button still drives is Ross Brawn.
You know that he was the longest guy driving without victory until 2009 or somethin like that?
