Sadly when your family is broken, parents divorced, it doesn't help a kid who is already living in a bit of a shitty area. Some of these kids just need a father/mother figure and a slapped arse when they do something they shouldn't.

Music is almost every time a matter of taste, not influence.
e: Rap is mostly about reality, feelings and so on is it to blame these ppl to appreciate reality instead of the mainstream shit music we hear on the radio everyday? Isnt it the ppl who look the other way to blame? The mainstream crowd who might think everything is al right got their fancy phones and clothes listening to some music repeating "Life is good" 10 times in 15 seconds. Who think you're happy and feel well just cause you look good with your make up on and laugh with your friends about how nerdy that guy in class is.

Parents are a big part of what is wrong. Yet those parents have not been educated themselves on how to bring up children and care for their family. Parents blame schooling yet generally it is down to a parent to teach good morals to a child... not schools. If the schools are sooooooo bad in those areas why aren't the parents trying to educate their children on their own time? Maybe they should turn off xfactor and take their kid to a museum... allow their kids to have aspirations in what they want to do in life. If they say they want to be a [insert profession here] then as a parent they need to do everything possible to make that happen... even if thats just reading a book about the profession every night.
Fashion and music all show luxeries that most can't afford... it instills jelousy and greed in the public. People WANT new trainers, new cars, a huge house etc.
Most folks moral compasses are wrong at the moment and this really needs to change. People don't help each other anymore... its all about selfishness.
