Id like to ask everyone, especially the players, to give some feedback on our cup. Organization, coverage, teams, format. Anything serious will be looked and and we will try to apply it to our next cups!

ps: we know the tourney.cc page didnt work, the entire tourney.cc network went offline just before the cup started... when its back on we edit the brackets etc.

ps2: we also hope people are willing to idle and stay in #blackpoint and join our Steam Group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/teamblackpoint so we keep organizing events and cups like this one

But if you gonna do that, you need to start these cups earlier and if one team must wait almost 1½h for other team, something is wrong there :)

yea, the problem tonight was(why u had to wait so long) NORDIC vs WinFakt got delayed like 30minutes and i didnt want to drop a team(since it was only 8 already) and then they also had a decider with a fullhold in firstround so it just delayed ALOT. couldnt do alot about that. (and its hard to fill that time up with another match cause you have to wait for next opponent...)

For trying to catch up the delay, should have forced adler as decider atleast :p or just be harsh for the other team who hasnt got the players to start with 5 or forfeit

mmm well we already forced the round maps aswell , dont want the teams to just do whatever i want.i think its important to let them choose also what they are comfortable with in some ways. we tried to keep delay at minimal, but unfortunatly still like an hour delay :(

yea we heard that from more fins(hour + i believe?) reason for the time: originally we had it at 20.00 start. but after the first teams we asked to play we decided to put it 21.00 cause of players missing till then. unlucky for you but next cup we will announce earlier and maybe split it into two days or something so we have a better timeschedule ;)

like squall said, with bo3 you should have the decider as a forced map => adler/frost. & maybe give some pentalty points to zzz for wasting 30 mins of your cup & about 300 other ppl their time.

Good coverage on gtv ! Except that the final started earlier than scheduled on gtv, so it allowed people to change their bets (Well they put their money on Queens so they massively failed, that's good).

Ca m'a fait marrer, quand ETTV disait que Robaciek jouait et que dignitas a perdu le flag sur Bremen super vite, j'ai regardé sur gtv et les paris ont complètement changé, tout le monde s'est mis à parier sur Queens. J'étais bien content qu'ils perdent en fin de compte xD

Creating your own cup site as part of your existing site, this could generate traffic for your clan's homepage as well as being useful for the players, so maybe worth considering?
