Settings conversion

I decided to switch from 600 to 400 dpi and I wanted to convert my current m_pitch and sensitivity so I made a quick calculation. I had sensitivity 07 and m_pitch 0.035 (yes, those are sniper settings) and thanks to that calculation, I ended up with sensitivity 11,6 and m_pitch 0.058 (on 400 dpi) but it appears those values are way too high.
So I was wondering if there was any conversion rule for the dpi ?
If my sensitivity is 3 with 800 dpi, was will be the value with 400 dpi ? Can't be 6... Same for m_pitch...
Any ideas ?
(is that even clear?)

m_pitch is the ratio between vertical and horizontal sensitivity. There is no reason to change it if you already changed your sensitivity.

I don't really even understand how you ended up with your calculations, it seems obvious that 600 dpi and 7 sens (600*7 = 4200) equals 400 dpi and 10.5 sens (400*10.5 = 4200) assuming that changing the dpi has effect on nothing but, well, Dots Per Inch.
Oh I see ! Thx!
The calculation for the sensitivity was actually correct

vanhaomena so clever
it's depending on the sensitivity, not the pitch

it is

but dont change m_pitch
You right, the only problem came from the m_pitch changes thx
