Sounds cool! :) So what do you usually do for fun in Paris? I've been to some nice bars&cafés, it's just that everything is a lot more expensive than what I'm used to, so still looking for some nice places I could maybe check out one day :)

I'm usually hanging around in the Quartier Latin, in the cinémas d'art et essai, as for the bars I can recommend you the Gentleman in Saint-Michel or the Petit Suisse near the Jardin du Luxembourg. I myself am studying Rue Saint-Jacques. What degree are you taking this year? Licence, master?

Same here, Master1 in something called Culture, Politics, Heritage (yes, it's about geography :D). We definitely should get in touch for a drink or something (when I'm back to uni, it's holidays atm), it's not something I'm used to do with complete foreigners but Ive never had the change to actually meet someone close to Paris :P

Sure, sounds fine! At least you know some places to go in Paris and I don't know a lot of people yet, so will be fun! You guys just finished the examinations if I'm not mistaken, right? Did you have to do the expose thing, or written exams only?

Well in my master, we've had only 3 written examinations, one in December and two in early January, still waiting for these two last results. We had oral exposés but they were part of the usual job as any other work. We are having a one month break now, till the 6th of February.
And where are you originally from, since it seems you don't know many people around Paris?
