asked them they charge LM15 thats equivalent to £22 or something... if i can avoid that it would be awesome

there is this site www.multi-com.pl if you register you can find some codes that removes the simlock? =P

that software cost ~300 euros, you can try to unlock your phone via internet, but anyway it will cost some euros :(

If your phone is older then 1 year, your provider should provide you the codes :) .
