Yep, thats right, the money rankings for ET have been updated once more.
http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=article&mode=item&id=47
This update has two big events added the SHG Open 2007 and the "french lan" with a combined purse over 7000 euros there are more than just a couple of new faces, people and teams rising in the ranks and so forth.
After both SHG and ETFRAGLAND 3 there are a few mixups in the teams rankings, which by now consists of 51 different teams. The era of Estonian teams dominating the ET rankings has come to an end as the former idle.ee team is now under the Team Dignitas banner and the idle.ee money rankings will stand still at roughly 28 000 $ for other teams to overtake.
Dignitas enters the rankings in a dominant way taking the 6th place after their first event. zeroPoint! has breaken into top10 aswell and currently is at 8th. The winner of ETFRAGLAND 3 one.soldier is tied for 14th with the former sFx LAN team.
In players rankings we have many changes in the top 20. SHG Open was the 3rd biggest prizepool for ET ever and it was bound to make significant changes. Night and r3vers keep pulling away from the 3rd place Holz with each update. And as if the army wasn't hurting Holzs rank enough the slovenian army of Jakazc who just recently took over 4th place from intact seems hungry to break into the top3.
The inseparable german duo of senji and urtier is deservingly advancing in rankings as well. SHG got them past a trio of inactive oldschool estonian players and had them knock ferus out of top 10.
With this change team dignitas can now brag with having 5 of their active 6 man lineup in the top 7 of the moneyrankings.
The QCon 2005 United 5 side has to take two steps back because two of austrian powertrio Darky and potter march on and look for future events to get past the inactive players sitting on higher places. They are currently tied for 12th.
Reload is the next player to take a small revenge as hi hops over the estonians he should have been together at quakecon 2005 with.
teKoa remains the player with biggest earnings without ever having attended quakecon at 31st, but hatred and the only player to have won money before from the French LAN event winners list - mAx, crawl closer with just .3 $ separating the two.
Rapture from zP also takes a nice climb all the way from 90th to 36th. Kot climbs from 53rd to 39th. Mrozu from 79th to 42nd.
The whole team of one.soldier climbs to tied for 64th after success at the ETFRAGLAND 3.
Licid climbs all the way from 185th into the top 100 to 93rd and the rest of the Black Magic team who didn't have any money prior to SHG Open managed to barely crawl into the top 100 aswell.
In total there are 30 new additions in this update and the total number of players who have ever earned money playing ET is now 236.
In The Nations rankings the combined efforts of Darky potter and rapture were enough to once again take a lead on Jakazcland, but those two nations have been switching places a lot lately and hopefully will keep the rankings interesting in the future as well.
The myesterious french LAN event, which despite its 2000 € prizepurse didn't even make it to the news section of crossfire, helped two nations greatly. Belgium got past Portugal and Switzerland to 11th and France climbed all the way from 20th to 13th and their winnings increased more than 18 times.
We also have one new nation in Ireland. Sols earnings at shg were enough to enter the rankings on 18th.

nice work
although I get it's not the same organisation.. depends what kind of "team" you're talking about, playing or multigaming..
So the rankings follow the name of the team.
thats not right, I was also part of the GodsInc team that won the 100$ GGL money anno 1945.
They won Loser bracket, but losers from winner brackets didn't play in the loser bracket. They won 500 euros whilst 3rd & 4th won just few goodies. Sad but true.
