Car (Weapon) of choice?

What would be ur ideal first car? dont go overboard and say outrageous cars like lambo's , aston martins etc...be realistic..given a budget of say £20,000 what would you buy?

my first car was a ford sierra.. it cost me around 3.000 euro.

second car was a peugot 307 - cost me around 10.000 euro.

third car was a Chrysler Stratus - cost me around 20.000 euro

and the chrysler was awesome to drive, it looked really good to.. (champagne/golden color) and i miss it:<<

but if i were u, i would go for a asian car, like Toyota or honda..

good cars, stable and safe, use not much gaz, and u can sell them without loosing to much money at a later time.

next car ill buy will probably be a cabriolet from one of those firms..

for those of you who like the a3, you could probably buy it from my grandma (3.2 litre of course)
that is if you want to have the granny car.
she doesnt like it too much, its too powerful, yet she manages to kill it all the time because she doesnt push the throttle enough!

EDIT: oh and for 20000 quid i would buy an old ferrari, from the 70's or so
