To avoid troubles at CPC!

As some of you might know already, im teh n1 smart guy with installing drivers and putting configs into the right place. I started thinking about last time I played at CPC and what ( for me then ) was a major problem.

The guy who just played on the computer that I had to play on was using his autoexec.cfg ( think it was urtier ) leaving me behind with the troubles. I didn't take my autoexec.cfg with me because I never changed anything in it, all the changes I needed were in my personal cfg (lio.cfg). So this is what I would like to ask:

Everyone who is attending CPC and that is playing ET, can you please rename your autoexec.cfg to some random name and just manually exec it, this is just to avoid any troubles like if you load a new map it starts autoexec'ing again and you can start over again.

Thank you very much if you could do this!

i agree
you could just delete autoexec and profile.cfg and load yours.
I thought the same... :/

then it would still restart with the settings of the former user, while if you still have the authentic autoexec.cfg it will be the normal ( default ) settings.

cvar_restart np

Create an autoexec.cfg with just...

exec "lio.cfg"

...in it
Parent
+ pas op voor backstabbers
What about map and class auto-execs? should they also be renamed to random stuff?
Why don't you just take your autoexec.cfg with you this time? Much easier.
FU! :<

me = afraid

+ I can't find any autoexec.cfg in my ET thingie :S

die moet je ook zelf maken...

- do writeconfig autoexec in ET
- add a cvar_restart to your autoexec config on the top
