cpc2 - and a good bye to you guys ;)

Where to start and where to end? – I have no clue.

After our horrible performance @ the cpc2 I was more then just disappointed. As some of you might know I decided already a few weeks ago that I will quit gaming after this lan. And everyone who knows me just a bit can already guess that I didn’t plan to not even survive the group stage of the last tournament I am playing ;)
Fette missing his flight and other circumstances were just fitting the date of the first day on cpc2 : Friday the 13th.
Right now, sitting in front of my screen, something came to my mind that is more important than anything else – maybe it was a good thing that happened for me personally on this event. Cause this whole upset just brought my thoughts back to the basic and important things – Winning is just a part of gaming. But other essential things are friendship, meeting other gamers from all over Europe, participating on big tournaments, following the scene and the other teams, talking about matches that already past by or still have to come – this whole game is a hobby and a passion that I shared with a lot of guys – most of them great and just as cool as the friends that live near by.

CPC 2 was great, It was a pleasure to meet all you guys ( and girls ) there. The venue was fine, just the PC’s sucked ;) – The cabines were probably the best thing about the tournament : No other lan I’ve ever attended brought the ppl together like this one. Whenever I came back from the venue there were like 50 guys sitting all over the place in front of the cabines, drinking beer and fooling around – we had time to get to know each other a bit, the best thing that could have happened ;)

Well, I am getting closer to the end of my journal, I don’t feel like writing a little roman – but if I would give all of you guys out there a personal “good bye” with some little comment it would take me ages.. and that’s also something I am really happy about ;)

Good luck to my zeropoint! Team, you can achieve everything you want, don’t forget that guys. Butchji, get some optimism, then you’ll own on lan as much as at home. Gifty, my favourite rifle – you’ll be a legend within short time, just continue playing ;) – Hatred, most underrated and one of the top10 players of all time.. make me proud Marcellus! Keran – if teamplay would need to be invented, I’d invent it and give it your name.. keep our guys getting forward. Potter – hehe, so many things I could say, I will keep the harsh words until we see us again – let me see some more 8 men kills in the future, maybe this time with a panzerfaust? – oh noes! :)

For all my other gaming-bro’s : Keep it going, Estonian connection, Impact ( especially Tekoa <3 ) TLR and Polar, we had a lot of nice games and some good laughs, enjoy the time you have right now ;)
There are also so many guys I met at the different lans - Maverick, Ara, galahad, munchies, herbal, sexyhot, snubl, hummel, blaze, aeq, perfo, fobje, frop, fireball, rbnt, wing!, doctor, david, rev, night, jak, reload, senji!, tore, evo, eddie, kris, snoop, toxic, licid!, maus, accoz, clown, lighning, bull, sol, kuraigu, dnzl, ziff, my polish guys from ff and netrunners – pff.. the list doesn’t come to an end.. I can’t name them all, but I guess you know I want to wish you a good time. ( don’t be pissed if you are one of the guys later in the list ;)

Another good bye to the admins of cb ( especially Adacore ) and our news-crew all over enemy territory ( foonr, hellgoat, celtic, chosen, flyingdj and all the others <3 ) - and of course all casters ( <3 mashed )

Last but not least a big big thx Tosspot and Ronner.. – for everything ;)

So.. time to say goodbye , don’t be harsh if I should be back again for a few games in the future – gaming is just one of the funniest things there is ;)
And FFS – be proud to be a gamer, keep it going and don’t forget – after all, its just a game ;)
