The fact is the volume of home grown players in English clubs is minescule, chelsea/liverpool have 1/2 in their average lineup, arsenal have zero, man utd do have more, but everything else is bought. These four teams have all bought success and Man Utd have spent just as much as chelsea if you span over the entire length of the league. Of the top 5 British transfers, Man Utd have 3 of them.
