Hitsounsds ONLY

hey,


is there a way i can have the hitsounds only?

like, no gunshot sounds, no atmosphere sounds, no truck no nothing.

just the hitsounds..


i know it could be done with adding different pk3 files, but is there any other way??


back then, there was this avi about nuggan usin hax. you could only here the hitsounds, all other sounds were gone.. i'd need that :c

hab ich aber auch schon dran gedacht^^
also es ist zumindest im spiel selber nicht möglich
aber mit zusatzprogrammen vllt^^
bin aber nicht soo sicher ob das ganz legal wäre :P

ich schalt wenn dann den sound einfach ganz aus, das is am geilsten, da gibs hits wie sau :D:D:D
man kann sich dann viel besser aufs tracking konzentrieren ;)

hitsounds 2 -> only headshot hitsounds
hitsounds 3 -> only bodyshit hitsounds (afaik)

these values do not change ingame sound effects

hmmm, würde sicher recht strange rüberkommen.
denke mal nicht dass das geht, höchstens so, dass man auch umgebungsgeräusche verlieren würde ( schritte ), was ja auch wieder scheisse wäre.

probiers mal aus ;)
es sind definitiv die gunsounds die stören.
im war sind die fussschritte aber eh net soo wichtig, da eh ständig das gelaber der teammates dazwischentönt.
probiers aus ohne sound ;)
mir fehlen dann einfach die hitsounds :/

the gunsounds are determinding very hard to your concentration for tracking
try to play w/o sounds, you will track very much better.
but if you play w/o sounds, you will miss the hitsounds, so :)

hmm, actually one should get used to hitsounds after having played some time. i have not yet recognized any aimwise difference if i am playing without sounds ( which i quite often have to as i don't have any speakers on my second pc and am not willing to take my headset with me all the time ).
i've been playing with only hs hitsounds for a long time ( more than a year ) which has never resulted in any better or worse aiming though.
and one needs to hear other players moving.

No gun sounds = bloody annoying, you lose track of how much you're shooting, whether you have ammo, etc.

You want to watch the bottom right corner of your screen and not the crosshair, where you're aiming? OK, you go do that ;)

and that's why we should add the possibility to hear a sound when you have to /kill (at 29 or 19), so that you can don't lose your tracking when whatching the time nor fullspawn because you didn't wanted to lose your tracking :))))

Seriously you never played without sound? :) You got 30 bullets, not to hard to keep track on them.
