ET is dead my friend... will be like RtCW when ET was released... some ppl will keep on playing it and i about 1 year there will only be 10clans left @ europe scene (maybe a few more, but ET will die slowly now...)

ET:QW is the future:

-> Quakecon
-> maybe ESL EPS (if the community is big, who knows, battlefield2 also had a EPS)
-> Clanbase EC

etc etc...

as if i would care about ET:QW, i won't even buy it i guess... just telling u what will happen within the next 1-2 years... this has nothing to do wether i like ET,ET:QW or whatever... it's just a fact... and if u don't believe me, we can talk again in 1-2 years :D
ppl said the same when ET was release... "we will go on play rtcw, much better game" etc etc... and look at the RtCW-Scene now... it is dead...

And i guess ET:QW will soon be played like bf2 @ EPS -> Infantry only ... so np with the fucking cars and tanks and stuff :D

imho the ET clanszene will be alive much longer than the RTCW szene was and just because of one fact!

ET = freegame

ET:QW = paygame (like RtCW is)

i hope u will be right, cause i prefer ET over ET:QW too (even if i don't play ET anymore)... but i guess many many ppl will switch to ET:QW :/

i guess at least we got a lot of peeps who cant buy a new pc and will stay at et and nC cant earn enough money so they wont support et hacks anymore and et will be enjoyable again :o

but yes ET is a opensource game while RtCW & ET:QW are not, this might keep the game alive, but the community will definitly become smaller.

I will do everything to keep ET alive at least at czech rep and try to continue to open doors for ET which Quakecon 2006, Crossfire team and CPC1-2 have opened... future will be great, but there must be enough people to work for community!
