I know that you can lower your y-sensitivity when you have a razer, you just open the drivers and change it. But can you do the same when you have a MX 518, is there any folder on your comp where you can change your Y and/or X-sens?

I really don't care I use a Razer :P
It does not fuck up your mouse or anything (if you do it properly). Been using razer drivers on mx518 for 2 years.
Beats setpoint =)
