What do the dutch have? A mediocre climber who's going to quit after this year and a ... No, that's it. You are even proud when foreigners from a dutch team wins and then think Holland has a success.

im not in favor of cadel evans... that were the belgian commentators who said that. i was proving to rhand that the dutch arent the only ones that are proud of a foreign rider doing good for a dutch time.

im not saying they idolize him, but thats not what the dutch are doing either...

what they do is they give evans a bigger chance to win just because hes in a belgian team and theyre belgian commentators. its bullshit to say that evans could win the tour because he is a good time trialist because he aint that great of a time trialist.

They said he was the best time trialist in the group he was in at that moment. That's just the truth. They never said he could win the Tour because he was so good in Time Trials, they even barely implied that.
Heck, when Mayo was speeding away like a rocket they were saying good stuff about him as well (Mayo an outsider for the victory?). So what you are saying is just a lie.

Besides, Evans is a better Time Trailist than Moreau, Contador, Kacheskin, Shleck, Mayo and Valverde.

you learn to listen... it was when they showed the overall standings in the tour and they were analyzing the standings. thats when they said that cadel evans was the best time trialist and that he would have a big chance of winning the tour because of that.

im not saying hes not a good time trialist im only saying that not just the dutch are excited when a foreigner from their team wins something... also the belgian commentators are expressing their hope that a rider from the belgian teams will win the tour, even if its a foreign rider.

On the final time trial he crashed twice and 4 bikes broke. Some of it was unlucky of course, but he usually lose 2-4 minutes to the winner of the time trials.

One last thing, the guy who got the yellow jersey yesterday, the guy from Germany, is still making a good chance! He was good in the first time trial and let's hope he can survive the mountains.

first time trial is only 8 km... real time trials are 55, big difference. the only reason he hung in so long this stage was because he had the yellow jersey... look at voeckler few year ago, he did the same. after he lost the yellow jersey he was nothing.
