sure but you don't have to have death to make it a terrible accident. the recent kubica crash was pretty horrific, just because the cars are safer now doesnt make it any less worse

Senna's crash is only so bad because of how amazing a driver he was, the actual technical part of the crash, although fucking unfortunate because he could not do anything about it at the time, it was a pretty simply crash head straight into a wall with not much damage to the car.
the crash linked above and also kubica's were absolute carnages of crashes which included air time and spins with total damage to the car.
