LAN rule question

some people i know when using vehicles in qw use the third person view which doesn't have a crosshair, and so they draw a crosshair on their screen - is that allowed at lans or what, or is there an alternative that's used? similar question could be applied for cod2 etc..

You mean literally putting a dot on the screen? If you don't use permanent marker that damages the screen or anything its usually all good

isnt it a kind of skill to play without a crosshair!! i guess its forbidden to play with a customcrosshair so imho drawing a crosshair on a screen is forbidden to !!

Bring a transparent thingy (like you use on overheads) and tape it to the screen. you could draw a crosshair on that :)
