all i hear is disharmony. the different elements don't go together very well, somewhat distorting each other, thus i wouldn't even call it music (well ok real bad music). the remixer lacks any sense for what made the original good and destroys it, leaving the listener with nothing more than noise.
anything that either convinces with a good beat or a great melody, preferably both. so nothing in particular. sometimes techno, sometimes (alt.) rock, sometimes jazz, sometimes hiphop, etc., etc.
