400 DPI > 2000 DPI. Debunking DPI.

A lot of the new schoolers haven't read this yet, and are making retarded assumptions that more DPI is bettah because like "ZOMFG IT IS A BIGGER NUMBER" when in actual fact they couldn't be more wrong.

So I feel like bringing it up again for everyone, have a nice read.

My friend is telling me I should put 2000DPI because it's way better blabla and since I got a laser mouse... but as I wanted to keep the same sensibility that I had with my logitech, so I stayed with 800DPI

Well 2000 dpi is bugged in the quake3 engine, u wont be able to aim normally. :)

Maybe bugged is not the right word, but ive experienced it myself, with 800 dpi you can aim much smoother then with 2000 dpi.
With 2000 dpi thers always a little friction in the aiming, or your crosshair jumps to another place (selfbust olol).

the higher the dpi, the more POSITIVE acceleration
the lower the dpi, less positive acceleration
