which r_mode shud i use by a 15,4" notebook widescreen ? i tested alot and my xhair looks like a " - " and not like a " o " ;<

2d elements will always look stretched when using widescreen in a q3e game, while 3d will look correct.

r_mode 11 or r_mode -1 with r_customwidth "1280" and r_customheight "800"

use the customresolution 1280x800. The hud might look strange, but the game graphics are right.
