and btw who said someone cant change some settings :x ?

Looks like someone listened to my advice.

cg_fov 90 @ 4:3 = cg_fov 100.39487232 @ 16:10 (keeping the same vertical height)

mAus, rather than adjusting to a wierd zoomed view, set his fov to 100 to maintain the same view that he would get at home but with "bits added to the side" (the non technical explanation :))

So he was playing with his actual settings! hah!

To get the same effect on widescreen monitors as home on normal 4:3 monitors, i sudgested him to use this to calculate his new fov http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/fovcalc.php . (c) meez

4:3(90) -> 16:10 = ~100
