if it's broken it's hard to fix it, the france people liekt o do everything on their own way and liek to hide stuff behind metal plates which you have to remove first.

and it's mostly expensive when you need smth fixed because you can't get something from a other brand then the brand of your car. And custem parts are higher priced because they have to be specialy made for the france cars, while non-france cars mostly use the same stuff (like seat using VW motors etc)

and lexus is using honda power and honda doesn't own lexus ;)

and citroen parts are only compatible with citroen and thats why the are more expensive (less people will buy them).

they also use Toyota power and their own engines in the higher priced models.

they mostly use toyota for the cheaper (alround) models and their own engines for the higher priced models. But in some models the use honda if they want a car that has more power but less style.

Ke tell me then why my uncle's Lexus IS220d has the same engine as my friends his Honda Civic. ;)

and they even told me @ quick-fit where my friend with the Honda civic works that they sometimes see a lexus with a honda engine ;) (the manager could remember atleast 4 of them and those 4 where all IS220d, so maybe they had a problem with the delivery of toyota engines or smth)

IS220d? So you are saying your friend drives a Civic which has a 2.2l D-4D D-CAT engine...
That engine however can be found in various Toyota models, not in Honda's.

no the Lexus has a 2.0 Honda engine dunno what one, and the people @quick-fit told me they saw it before that a lexus IS220d had a 2.0 honda engine

but thats just what the people told me @ quick-fit so blame them if I'm telling false info, but I'm 100% sure my uncle's IS220d had a Honda engine ;)

hmm I doubt your uncle would be happy having a 2.0 l 100/105 bhp diesel engine instead of having a 2.2l 177 bhp diesel engine but meh...

and quickfit, altho I always enjoyed their services they didn't know what brand/type of car I had, neither did they know it had rear-wheel drive and a slip differential so that they had to use the bridge instead of whatever else they used. But that was many years ago already ;p

my friend is working there as a 2nd level engineur (fixing tires, brakes and such easy things) and he also says that most people know shit about cars there, but they know how to repair them xD

Not that much. Every car losses 20% of it´s value when you drive it out from the dealer.

But yes, maybe they loose value a bit faster than some Mercedes, but who cares. They are quite cheap anyway.

they aren't when u just have one, but wait when something is broken it will cost you twice as much as when something brakes on a Toyota or smth.

and france cars look like shit. Renault used to have nice cars but now they are also using strange butts liek on the megane.

I personally like the new C4. Renaul has made some weird choices in the last few years, but some like it, I don´t.

On the contrary every manufacturer makes ugly cars, look at the new BMW 3-serie or any of your beloved Toyota (though it is a reliable and cheap car to fix, I had one myself few years ago).

BMW 3 serie isn't ugly and Toyota Celica and Supra are realy nice cars also and there is nothing wrong with a Avensis for a family car or a Aygo for my mom ;)

it just a personal taste thing, but france cars are expensive to repair and they mostly have some strange shapes so thats my reason to never buy a france car.
