He's played ET since the begininng, and those players you named were never good in ET. I play against them all. Same goes for Raziel, he was bollocks at ET.

Well it stands to reason he could aim pretty well, as he was really fucking good in RtCW lets face it. But, compared people like Aza he's ridiculously inferior.
Of course, that was liek 3 years ago when he still played actively. He did win some tournaments in qw aswell so I wouldn't go as far as calling him ridiculously inferior.
Yeah I know, I exaggerate of course, but that's my point, neff was saying that all these oldschool RtCW players had amazing aim. But if they were to play against the highskilled community (atleast the clean ones ;D) nowadays, I'm guessing they'd be a bit out of their league.
actually it does and big time... just watch some old demos, even from dsky times (if u watch older demos u will see the difference even more clearly)... they got acc ~35% whereas nowadays top players got acc ~45% or even more.

You don't seem to know the definition of talent... If they had time to adapt to all the advancements that have been made in both ET and general play style, they would still be high+ skilled.

There are, I'm sure, some people who played Q3, then RTCW, and quit shortly after trying ET. Does that mean they're less talented than those butchjis and mAuses who developed their ET skill further? No.
On average they are just as talented as those that started playing later, but surely they aren't better talented (which was your first statement). ET is different than it used to be back then, so it's hard to say if those oldschoolers could be that special. Surely butchji and maus would play almost as good as they are now with the settings your idols had 4 years ago. Mystic was good already back then and showed the way to go in evolution of tracking. Those oldschoolers you named didn't really track which is the skilled part in ET, so they were a lot behind compared to today's players.
With all these years for them to train, maybe they would hold the top skill level still, but it's not a sure thing. That's why I think it's ridiculous to lift some potential names in this matter instead of players that really came all the way and are good today.
