the best lcd monitors?

looking for the lcd monitor with best picture quality for not much more then 300 euros and also worth the price.. does anyone have good advice or some links to good lcd reviews?
Is it worth at all of spending that 100 euros or more euros more ..like is it really big difference between video quality or is it all just marketing.. :/

and what might that difference be? as far as i know an ms of as high as 20 is considered enough for fps gaming, kinda like going much higher then 100 fps doesnt make a difference,.. and a decent contrast shuld be enough right? and you can get those monitors for half the price already.. i just wanted to see peoples opininon on what the difference is.. that good specific reason to go for those "high end" monitors some screenshots of 1:1000 vs 1:3000 contrast would be nice for example.. rly what the hell is the difference?

i have a dell 16ms monitor, considered one of the best out there, still retails for about £250, even has a gaming mode. Bottom line its shit. You cant see a thing when you track left to right fast in close combat, its all blurred since it cant keep up, there is even a difference between the 2ms monitors. Really if you want a good gaming monitor you have 2 options:
Iiyama E2201W
Samsung SyncMaster 226CW

or the 226BW if you get the S model which is a 1/3 gamble

i have a good crt and ol 17 inch philips brillliance 17a.. but i going for the lcd coz of space and health.. it tires the eyes man! you never feel your eyes getting tired? some say that the crt emits radiation which affects our brain negatively

It all depends on the refresh rate your monitor is running at. Mine is running at 120Hz, and I can watch it easily 10 hours a day without any probs. On the other hand tft/lcds are bad for ET type of games where u need tracking, because their refresh rates are too low for that. That's why I wouldn't play ET on anything else than crt. But for other uses tft is better.

Nope, I need 120Hz to play ET... otherwise it feels "laggy"

For games like CS where u don't need to track, it's fine to play with lcd
