is it the current most powerfull gfx card on the market? and also for gaming? i heard some stuff about that its not on the market anymore because they sucks or w/e

? are there any better gfx or i shall buy it?

8800 ultra is the best still, but if you want "bang for your buck", (read $/fps) you should buy the new 8800gts 512mb:)

GT best gfx card on market. gts does not even beat it and gtx is just little better but take a look @ da price!

still waiting (since 2. dec) but i will get a superclocked one :o)

well as far as i can judge that without having both cards on my desk, comparing the facts of the cards i gotta say that my superclocked GT has some good chances to compete with the gts. the gts only got a "few" RAMs more ;o)

maybe, but if someone would get a "superclocked" GTS this one would be better...i'd say just compare non OC with non OC and OCd with OCd

true but performance wise non OC GT is very close to non OC GTS.... diffrence is basically tiny. so why pay much more money for a GTS when basically a GT is just as good :P

sorry, but where does it say that it uses a g90 or g92 gpu chip?

i have a 8800gts with 640mb and it's g80 chip which is on it.

yes, but the 8800GTS 512MB is only released with the new g9x chip on. It isnt released with the g80. 8800gts 320 & 640 is only released with the g80 chip not with the g9x chip.

hmm then the 8800gts 512mb might be the 8800gts refresh :)

i've googled abit .. the new powercard might come next month.
a 9800 and a 9800gx2 .. but then again, you might want to wait abit longer for the g100 generation

yes the 8800GTS 512 is the refresh from the 8800GTS cards. It has the same chip like the 8800GT.

And indeed next monty come the new 9*** serie out.

ultra > gtx > gts > gt, in preformance

in price / preformance it's the other way around.

and 1024 MB on graka is overkill, they just added the mem to look cool, it doesn't give a real preformance boost only a few FPS in crysis in 1600*1200 (thought it was around 7 fps or smth) not worth the extra money imo.
