well, it could actually be true that the quality of C&A comes close to the quality of roberto cavalli's jeans ( didn't checked it though ). But i agree with you that you pay for the brand and not for the actual jeans itself. But in the society wich we all now live in, this brandimage can be more important than you'll think in the first place.
