punkbuster is also scanning your hard-drive so if someone is playing with a detected bot who is known by punkbuster you will prolly get kicked by this new anti cheat tool although I dont believe it detects new cheats but lets hope so : - ]
when you're running antivirus & mirc & firefox & messenger in the background, 1 more process of 1MB or used memory hardly matters. More important (and where PB fails) is CPU consumption, and I've tried to optimize anti3 to be as friendly as possible with the game. Moreover, quite a few people tried it already and have not complained (yet :P ).

and don't exclude OS'es in a cup ffs! now only people with XP and Vista can play. First make atleats a linux version (windows versions before XP aren't that important cuz more people use linux then those shitty windows versions).
Well, ye It could be based on RSHOOK but Im not sure about that since only lio & alexL got kicked for it and Im pretty sure there are more ppl using RSHOOK. Its just based on some oldbot or Its a brandnew bot which has been asked to try it by alexL and lio :o ]

everyone got the problem with an open port... If u use things like icq, msn, games, programs etc u got the Problem that someone can gain access to your pc through an open port. btw, if u are so scared, just unsubscribe your inet...

1. we take no responsability for any damages
2. the program will not scan anything else but the game
If we break point 2, the whole agreement can be voided, so point 1. is voided, so you can sue us for damages. But since we don't break point 2, it's not going to happen ;)
It has to be able to monitor the player's running instance of ET. This could work on linux with running both ET and anti3 in the wine emulator, i havent' tested it tho, but i think it would catch eth & co...
on the other hand, it's simple... pb kicks you if the pb client cant' communicate with the pb server... worldcup3v3 staff will kick you if they don't receive information about the client you're running... all the windows/linux shit was just a usefull explination of it...
