Setpoint version?

Heyo xfire :>

I'm in need of some experienced opinions about the Mouse Firmware
from Logitech -> Setpoint

I use to have stable 500 hz with my Mx518. I used the checker that
also shows the ms. It was even stable on slow movements. Also knew
a guy with a Mx510 which had stable 500 on slow movements. Now
my question is, is there some sort of Setpoint version thats gives
more stable hz or in generell a smoother feeling? I've tried 4.xx's and
version 3.1. If you cant help with the hz prob then maybe just give some
advice on the best Firmware version for my Mx518.

Thx

btw, Yes Ive played without it, and I know it's shit but there must be a reason
for the really unstable hz and jerky feeling :/ Mousepad and skates are clean
as could be - HALP :P

no drivers
I just played without them to test and it's worse then with them.. Long range aim feels jerky and with it, it's kinda ok but still not what I remembered it to be, so :/
