like clockwork the ddos'ing onto the crossfire webserver started again with the release of a new list of their customers here:
http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=forum&mode=item&id=16239
while this distributed SYN attack brought the site down for a while, we've got it under control now. Over 250 ip's that are most likely part of a cheap botnet have been blocked in the core firewall, allowing the site to function normally while the attack persists.
Just wanted to say hi netcoders ;-)

anyway... jsut childish from netcoders?
aren´t hackers /coders guys who wants to make clear that pb is unsecure? So if pb makes it more secure they shouldn´t cry around :)
so the only thing xfire is logging , is the ip of all that bots.. or better say all the other pc´s which are infected and connected to that botnet (privat irc-server)
edit: i might fail with this comment. i dont really remember how it was.
so no death to me np
well done anyway
I don't care much though, I haven't really seriously played ET at any time anyways.
--> but hey, i'm king of the internet (at least ppl say so)
