Italy had 2 great chances, when it was 0:0. Then the Netherlands scored exactly, when Italy was going to be the better team. 80 per cent of the referees had said offside, although it wasn't offside.
The 2:0 was only possible, because Italy had to play more offensive, otherwise the Netherlands had never the possibilty for such a counter attack. (same for 3:0)
Italy missed 6 good chances to the 1:2, before the Netherlands finalised them. Oranje had lost their nerves, in case of Italy had scored.
Don't misunderstand me. It was a deserved win. But the match could have another result.
This is plain stupid. Netherlands had a lot of actions too. Also, it's not about how many actions you have, it's about using those actions and actually score a point.
Plus NL had most ballpossesion.
I'm sure that if it was exactly the same game but ITA has won with 3:0 then you wouldn't have said that it was luck.
