been using 1800 dpi
but im using 450 since 2 days
as i heard low dpi > high
ps: technically high dpi's > low dpi's but personally i prefer "low" dpis (under 1000)
RTFM
use 400dpi. 2000 is rly unnecessary + it makes your mouse less acurate when aiming(not tracking) + usually it causes negaccel
500 HZ
just use some random settings man, everbody can play decent with everything, just practice alot :)
just try it i hope u like it.
2.5 sensitivity + low accell
since you already use 2k, just stay with it, its perfect now, and for the future when you buy some super big monitor, your mouse works best at it because it was designed for it, people say otherwise because its their bad mouse, or they repeat what people say and write journals like this :P or that they have used 800x600 for 10 years or have crap pc's so they cant put higher resolutions so it makes no difference to them: "what i use is best"
as for hz, use 500 or 1000, doesnt matter what you use as the difference is not noticable unless your superman... dont use 125, however... for the sake of placebo again, use 1000,
i use 450dpi and 1000hz in quake/tf2, and 1800dpi and 1000hz in cod... why? because im a fucking idiot and get placebo and think 1800dpi is better for better precise movement, but the fact is at my resolution 1024x768 it makes no difference atall... so in summary... use high hz and whatever dpi depending on your resolution as mentioned.
