You can't repair it, you can bring back to the store, but they say its not broken, your problem will only appair "in game" right? So the store which is repairing broken mouses, are NOT testing that mouse in games. :)

conclusion: buy a new mouse.

send a mail to logitech and explain your problem, if you are lucky they will send you a new mouse(if you still have warranty)

phone them and you get free one, even if not under warrenty, just read number from bottom of your mouse

The cable is broken... take the cable of an old mouse. G5 is a sucky mouse anyway.

Bring it back to the store say that it's broken tell ur problem they will give u a new one if u still got warranty on it.

Open it up, dissemble it completely and then run all the parts under running water to give it a good clean. Afterwards you re-assemble it from memory. Manuals are for losers.
