nah in max payne 2 when max finds himself back in a dream there is a tv show running and there is a voice which says with a psycho voice (edited with some crazy voice effect): "the flesh of fallen angels"
but well i was mistaken about that this plays a role in the movie :o totally forgot about the drug which make them appear
the tv show just seems to be a side thingy in the story of the game

Cthulhu is a fictional beast, created by H.P. Lovecraft and centering in his various books. Names like Loki and the likes just hint that it's just another weird joke by the makers of the game.
edit: just had a look at wikipedia and it said that loki was not a demon but a very mean badass giant who lied and stealed if i remember right what i read xD
It needs a more artsy touch imo, more noir and more disturbing. These Valkyrie seemed a good start and some more distorting filters would've added a lot to the atmosphere imo

Loki = Trickster God
Fenris = Nordic wolf demon thing
and I think its snowing trhoughout the game alluding to Ragnarok
alot of mythology in there
absolute awesome game though
it looks like the game, i will watch it
PS any other actors that could have played max payne instead of these 2 ?
