somehow, very strangely, despite putting on quite a bit of muscle i have lost a kilo or 2. this might be due to my daily 2km warmup run but still.
anyway how much do you computerfolk weigh ? im pretty sure someone will make a "typo" and give their weight in kb

regarding your gain weight. Your body is showing you that he doesnt need to gain weight ;) when he needs it you will notice dont worry :) Im studying about nutrition and i have a very strict diet because of athletics and when my body wanted to gain weight without increasing food, it did automatically and when there was need to decrease weight, have done it too.

probably just shed a shit ton of puppy fat which makes you look leaner instead of putting on huge amounts of muscle
its always been around 13-14%, i think it might have dropped to 12 now though. im not skinny or bony, i just dont have any fat :/
edit: well i saw myself in a body hugging tshirt the other day, and my waist is pretty thin :P but i normally only work on upper body
but im at 3sets of 7reps of 55kg + (machine)
then pushups til you cant physically do any more

I work out in the gym..
Monday : my back + shoulders (rear shoulders) + biceps
tuesday : swimming for 1 hour
wednesday : legs and stomack
thursday : swimming for 1 hour
friday : chest + shoulders (front) + triceps
saterday and sunday rest
works great for me.. i went from 74 kilos to 83 in a couple of months..
Eating and getting enough rest is very important
If you want to gain weight stop running...

Was doing too much sport back then (gym + running). Got bored, stopped doing sports, gained weight again.
Started with ~83kg @ 190cm, down to 74kg 5 years ago, up to 102kg 2 years ago, started running again, now I'm at 87kg, but with way more muscle mass.
anyone serious about finding out use body fat calipers, you pinch around 7-10 different areas of your body where fat is normally stored and then use the clipers to measure the thickness of the fat, then once all areas have been measured you use a bit of maths to calculate what it is for your weight and height and shit.
done it a few times for my brother :X pretty simply but you just need the proper tool
steppers/rowing/jogging will shed weight better than weights oh and skipping is the shiznit :P

going to gym for a month now and havent lost any kilo :(
but i feel quite fit and you can see difference!
I lost 2 kg in 5 days, just because I stopped snacking and ate 1/2 of what I normally eat.
Of course you also have to watch what you eat, especially go low on greasy food. Also keep in mind that you don't "starve" yourself, it will only result in a hunger attack. Eat food with lots of hydrocarbons like bread/pasta.
as far as i know its quite usual if you havent trained for a long time and atm i am training to convert my fat into muscles and it works quite good!! (i can see the results) unfortunat ly muslce are heavier than fat so it wont change much in the next weeks / month!
food was already changed before i started doing sport!!
But its better to eat rice instead of pasta. Better carbo ..

I'm trying to lose weight but I'm too nervous to go to the gym (:DD) so I tried by running, but I do that a couple of times and then quit for like 2 months :<<
And I'm not really the type of guy that can diet :P
Also, if your food habits are terrible you'll get nowhere with exercise alone. Both diet and exercise are needed.
But ah, well, the real problem is that I'm not steadfast enough to keep running every day or every 2 days.
