arm or wrist?

probably been asked thousands of times before, but do you aim with your arm or your wrist? also do you use high/low sens?

i guess i use low sens and aim with wrist, but i use my arm if i'm strafing around etc

Wrist, with mid-low sens. I just can't see how you could get enough precision with arm-aiming. Movement is a mixture of wrist and arm - a 180 is all arm, obviously.

Combination of both depending on the situation. I mostly I try to setup my crosshair in a certain way that I don't get caught off guard and have to use my whole arm to compensate for the lower sensitivity.

ye there are but it's not for everyone. For example I can't track for shit if I even use a sens higher then 40cm for 360 :X I can still get kills but on longe range and at moments whrre you have to track 5 mm's on your screen I cant aim at all :/ Guess it's just up to personal preference and experience with it :>

its mid sens... i was playing with 5-6cm to do 360... i was hitting a lot of hs but 25 acc was killing me :x

I tried it once and the headshots just rain in when your actually on someones head but getting on it... never got more then 25 acc aswell :DDD

i got a high sense, m8 its like _____MOUSE_____ at me played all games with such a high sense so i never really played with lowsense, i tried once but, i dont got any gamefeeling with it :DD

med sens? (can do 360+ turn) and mostly use my wrist, sometimes a little movement with my arm depending on how lazy I am :D

aim with my wrist, moving ur arm for such small movement is madness.

the trick is to not move your mouse... use wasd buttons to get better position so when guy appears u will kill hm without any movements from mouse...

i didnt said anything about strafe aiming...

as far as i know, in our beloved ET [not! i like rtcw more] exist thing called the spread... it occurs when you are shooting for few seconds, and when you are moving your mouse... It seems that lowsensers are gaining an advantage here, because lower sensitivity decrease spread, however it still occurs... Thats why moving your mouse when its not needed is wrong! .. But now to the point... If you can gain better position than your enemy [for example: he have to turn for 45 degres, while you just need to move your mouse and strafe] you have an advantage of having less spread... Also he have to turn AND track you... you only need to track him... Consequence: hes dead, and you are alive...

Prolly you now are asking yourself: He said that u dont have to move your mouse, and in reply he said that you have to track this guy only... Its the time for experience to came and kick somebodys ass... If u have played this game for some time u will know where enamy will come from and where will be camping... thats why you are always ready and know where to put that dot of yours... SO u will hit 3 headshots, in an instant, when your enemy will rush forward...

Remember that ET isnt aim based game, its only about proper and cold calculation... Thats why guys like xpaz night and many more are able to compete at highest skill level and still be ownage
