1 of those was in the netherlands like a bit more then a week ago, one of the first if I'm not mistaken, it's called a supercell and it's like a massive tornado generator ^^ (no tornado's were here though, LUCKILY).

Supercells are one of the few types of clouds that typically spawn tornadoes within the mesocyclone, although only 30% or less do so.

thats true spree .. its a supercell it can make tornado's by different pressure layers. heat and cold air come togheter and go in a upward turning fluence. :)
