med+ is indeed enough to compete in EC, you just need to find right fit of players, have huge motivation, have good ingame leader etc. And pracc a lot of and get taxes working.

back in the times when I was something like medskill hardly, our clan still beat highskillers reguarly in both praccs and offis, not to meantion reaching 3rd place in ec when beeing a medskiller!

the truth is, that ppl might be (not even often the case, but..) individually (aim and "teamplay") med+, but they don't understand the game. in long run you have to understand it or you'll eventually lose.

+ 1 , everybody thinks that aim=skill , but everyone forget that ET is a game that the point is the teamplay. Nowadays the most part of teams have a 6 individual players and not a team.

that's true, but mixing the game is very important, too. you have to know when to be aggressive, when to be predictable and when unpredictable. in higher level, it's more like metagame what ppl are doing sometimes. for example one of the best "mixers" I know is Finland

in a mix you have to do what is not expected that you will do. the point of mixing the game is to improve the individual part and next apply that in your clan as a team.

well it's just an example. I've played with him so much that I know what he's doing and why. Teambased aggressiveness is different than random fraghunt tbfh. it's almost impossible to explain without writing 100 lines of text. the experience counts. i'm not talking about mixes, im talking about mixing. this doesn't have anything to do with a mixed team. in 6o6 some ppl do actions what might cause for example doublekill sometimes but the action he makes doesn't have enough expectation, so it'll fail more often than succeed. pretty obvious. that's why I dislike for example overaggressive riflers. for example they might get the frags 50% of the times, but 10% of the times they'll lose the objective because of him not being there defending. how about defending as a team 100% of the times and losing it as a team or not -,-

what you say about overaggresive riflers, you can say the same of overaggresive smg's. Per example, I like your game style (even I am not rifler) because all what you do is with head, and you dont want to be the top player of some war.
If we had 6 players and they were like you ( i can say like me too and others ) it was almost impossible to win against us. ( I am talking in case of team-play , like the aim it is not the most important )

almost! well you can understand it that way, too, but my mainpoint was that if you have better team and the opponent attacks, you'll kill them with your team's crossfire ANYWAY. if one guy kills 3, ok their attack is destroyed, but if he can't get anyone, the team will be defending 5o6. with certain defendingstyle it's almost impossible to get through if it's 6o6 still. only way is that someone "fucks" up his own part and that starts the chainreaction. I just mean with normal defense they would have got those three ANYWAY without that big risk. but hunting is sometimes pretty advanced play in some levels. anyway you got it otherwise 8)
