Today, I read a short article at Polish website ( wp.pl ) about the 10 worst Chelski's transfers. As I know lots of people are interested in Premiership, I decided to share some facts from that article here. So, here's the list and monies paid by Abramovich ( in GBP)

10. Khalid Bhoularouz - 8 mln
9. Asier Del Horno - 8 mln
8. Scott Parker- 10 mln
7. Geremi - 7 mln
6. Damien Duff - 17 mln
5. Shaun Wright-Phillips - 21 mln
4. Juan Veron - 15 mln
3. Adrian Mutu - 15 mln
2. Hernan Crespo - 16,8 mln
1. Andrij Szewczenko - 30 mln

haha no ballack? he was shit for 2 years, he only started playing well at the end of the season with grant.

Well, if you have a closer look on this list, you will get a conclusion that only players who were sold already are there. Tho I agree: Ballack still didn't play as expected.

Notice how a lot of those are from the Ranieri days? Most of them were bought frivolously and then not used by either Mourinho or Grant.

Every club buys duds once in a while, it's just the nature of sport. It's whether or not the club can afford to take the hit, though. I mean Manchester United bought Veron for a world record fee, when he was the best player in the world. Yet, he 'flopped'. Whereas cheaper players have become bigger stars. Ronaldo was bought for 12.5 million and we all know how that ended.
