MAC vs PC - BATTLE

i got lotsa money, want to buy a laptop

new macbook pro:

15inch
multitouchpad
2.4GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo-processor
2 GB memory ddr3
250-GB hard disk
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 256MB

1800 eu :-(


a sony vaio:

17inch
touchpad
2.4GHz
Intel® Core-2 Duo T8300
4gb memory ddr2
500-GB hard disk
NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT GPU

1400 eu :-)



but what am i missing on info? Does apple really paint the inside of your mac pink to make you subliminally gay? Does pc use african midgets to put their laptops together? What would you pick?

do you realise that a 17 inch laptop is pretty big and heavy? I would not want to carry such a thing with me.

in general you can say that the smaller the laptop gets the more expensive it will be with the same hardware as there is less space to put all the stuff. what do you want to do with it, anyway?

my primairy goal is video editing / vj'ing. 15/17 inch are both do-able,
15inch is easy to carry around but 17 inch is just a bit nicer for video editing.

the chair of multimedia at our university uses mac only, so there has to be something which makes it good for video editing.

I've never worked with one though so I can't say anything about it.

tbh i completely hate the 'mac style', but it has come to my attention they are making the more decent and superior laptops at the moment..

ET 2.60b is Not Universal Binary, but if youinstall the UB version(2.60d) you can't play on ETpro server but you can enjoy the play on etpub, jaymod, NQ :)

MAC is useless, they're only expensive because, well, its Apple. Not worth buying it.
